fresh-faced and full of hope

and longing and curiosity.

Back then

I thought my

feelings were

so adult.

As an adult

I spent my time

searching for a love

to bring back those young

butterflies to kick my ass.

I wanted the butterflies.

I wanted the blues.

I wanted.

I received.

And I am still

recovering.
